Let’s talk about men and their mental and sexual health. Did you know that half of the men will experience a sexual difficulty at some stage. That’s including performance anxiety, premature ejaculation, delayed ejaculation or erectile dysfunction. Actually 1/4 men under 40 experience erectile dysfunction so this doesn’t just come with age. Most of the male sexual concerns can be healed naturally without drugs. Think about it, many men grow up thinking that sex and self pleasure is something bad. So they program their body from an early age to enjoy sexual sensation hiding and as quiet and quick as possible. Then we expect them 10 years later to be able to fuck like a pornstar and just know what to do? Sorry it doesn’t work like that. Many times we need to reprogram old habits and work on psychological, emotional or relationship issues. It’s actually rarely something wrong with the physical body.

There is a strong link between sexual function and mental health and that’s why I think it’s super important that we start talking about this. Men are struggling just as much as woman with performance anxiety and sexual concerns in the bedroom.

I believe we have this false assumption in the world that men are Alpha, “Players” and just know how to fuck because they watch porn. We think that men talk about sex and tell stories to their mates but I don’t think they talk about their hardships and struggles in the same way women do. Men are just as afraid to not be “normal” and to not belong that they suppress their concerns, even if that they can’t go one day without thinking about it. That will affect their mental health.

It doesn’t have to be this way, it shouldn’t be this way. I’m here to foster an open and healthy conversation about sexuality so men and women can emerge as sexually confident, liberated people who are free from shame, guilt and other negative emotions around their sexuality.
